I’m going on a school trip in two days and my mom said I’m not allowed to have my phone in Canada because of roaming. If I had airplane mode on, would my phone bill go up high? I won’t text or call unless it’s an emergency. I want to have my phone on because my camera phone is really good for taking pictures and I have some music on there too.

No it doesn’t cost more. All airplane mode does is disable your phone, text and email services. Basically, it turns off all the internal antennae.
