I’m looking for explosions of planes or airplanes on fire while in air. Preferably something small like prop planes or sea planes. Or if you know of any movies with scenes like that…it can work.
If you don’t know of any images/videos (the more real the better), any recommendations on places to look other than the typical search engine/youtube.
Thanks

is there a regulation on this. Would I need a certification to do this. I know i cant fly for profit as private pilot but would selling pictures taken from an airplane I fly be something o.k. to do??
The commercial operation is the photography, not the flying; so the Private ticket is fine.
I am making a DVD of a trip and I do not know what to put for the song for the airplane pictures.
That song by lenny kravits, dont know what it’s called but it goes, I want to get away, I want to fly away.
and i was wondering, since the plane is going so fast. why did the pics come out so clear and not blurry?
sorry, i wish i could but i don’t have the pic’s on the computer =(
The clouds are large and probably farther away than you think. Distance makes a difference. Think about riding in a car. Notice how fast close objects, like a fence post or the striped line on the highway seems to move past you. Then look off in the distance and see how slowly the trees seem to move. Add to this that the shutter speed of a camera is very fast. These are the main reasons the pictures a clear.
We have decided to do his room in airplanes and have have searched online for decorations but they cost alot of money. So I need some ideas on what I can do that will not cost alot.
Here is what we have:
1.Crib, bed set done in airplanes
2. 2 cute airplane pictures for the wall
3. The wooden letters of his name, to hang on the wall behind his crib.
4. a blanket with airplanes to hang on the wall
5. An airplane rug
I need ideas for like a lamp, I can’t find one with airplanes for under $60.00. And anything else you can think of. His roon is very bare. I am hoping to get a glider rocker at my baby shower to have in there. But other than that, I don’t know!
I have bedding, which I did buy off ebay. I got the bedding and the pictures there. That is all they had on ebay that didn’t cost alot. So I am basicly looking for ideas on stuff that I can make, so it will not cost alot. I don’t really care for the airplane theme, but I was able to get a 12 piece bedding set on ebay very, very cheap. So we went with that, but it seems that that kind of theme is quite costly to buy. So I would like to make some of the stuff if possible.
You know, it actually sounds like you have plenty already. If you get too many more things, then the room will be too "busy". I suggest you get just items that coordinate with what you have ie. blue items etc. One airplane idea though is to get some small toy airplanes and attach them to the ceiling with twine or something so they hang down. You can even take that idea and make a mobile for the crip. Good luck!
The game where someone lays on their back and holds hands with the person and holds them in the air on their feet.
The game where someone lays on their back and holds hands with the person and holds them in the air on their feet. If you do have any please send them to me if you can.
Alright that’s cool, do you think I could get some of your photos… this is the same guy that asked the question. I would appreciate it.
Since I can remember I’ve always wanted to be a pilot. I have hundreds of airplane pictures and models around my room, and I’ve been studying airplanes for years.
But I’m in high school but the couselors at my school basically….are not very well-trained. They do not help me with my dreams and goals. I know now is the time to start becoming prepared for my future, so in your opinion, what steps should I take to become one?
Unfortunately, most non-aviation people (school counselors in particular) just do not understand aviation and can not give you any useful advice. You need to start getting involved with aviation NOW, where associating with and getting to know people in aviation will give you a good start.
Join a flying club. Many have programs for "junior members", particularly organizations like the EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association) or AOPA (Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association), SSA (Soaring Society of America), and CAP (Civil Air Patrol). If you don’t live in the USA there are similar organizations in other countries. You’ll be amazed to discover how many people in these organizations welcome young people and have an interest in helping them succeed.
Go out to a smaller local airport and talk to a flight instructor or the manager of an FBO (Fixed Base Operation). You might even be able to get a part time job doing things like washing aircraft, helping out in the hangar, etc. That’s how I started and it was very worthwhile. The more exposure you get to aviation at a young age, the better off you’ll be.
Also, if you are serious about becoming a professional pilot, I recommend that you read the following book cover-to-cover. It might be the best thing you ever do for yourself to help you make the right choices and get prepared for a flying career. I wish it was around when I was your age.
