Yes a very nice … Yes a very nice landing captain but can you confirm it was christmas at the time as the taxi lights i found to resemble fairy lights! i’m very concerned that a new pilot might be confused by these multi coloured lights and find himself dicombobulated and any number of terrible incidents mights acur. Please ask the airport authorities to rectify this disaster waiting to happen!

Not true. There are … Not true. There are 5 ILS appchs at YVR. 08L & R, 26L & R, and 12. Given the clear night, however, they were most likely cleared the visual appch.
At YVR 26 Left is … At YVR 26 Left is ILS and 26 Right is VFR with a localizer. The weather was extremely clear, so there would be no reason not to come in on a visual approach. The autpilot was turned off before the video started.
