    Ok do not comment …
Ok do not comment me gain about this.

I am done arguing with people about that.
I was mistaking the reverser for the spoilers, i know the reversers don’t deploy automatically.

  2. MrExspert says:

    I flew the MD-11 …
I flew the MD-11 and reversers DO NOT automatically deploy on it or any other airliner. Auto-spoilers deploy automatically if armed and auto-brakes apply if armed, but no auto reversers.

  3. MrExspert says:

    When doing an …
When doing an autoland, the autopilot flares by use of the radio altimeter (bounces radio waves off of the ground to determine height), so it doesn’t matter what altimeter setting was used. This plane was being hand flown an had a short pilot induced oscillation (PIO).

    Look for “Fedex …
Look for “Fedex Express” on the english Wikipedia.

thanks , but where did you get that , because I also need to know the models too for a work group . tnx

  7. naisi says:

Fedex have 670 planes of which 378 are Jets.

  8. tiago105 says:

    well… i wanted to …
well… i wanted to know the whole fleet ;)

  9. SELPHIA3939 says:

    The crashed FedEx …
The crashed FedEx flight number 80 used a MD-11 type fleet.
Is this what you want to know?

  10. tiago105 says:

    Does anyone Knows …
Does anyone Knows where can i find ACURATE information about the fed ex fleet? . i find very different numbers … like 600 , 318, 298… if someone could help mei would appreciate

  11. nortalus says:

I take it as the …
I take it as the plane hit the ground on its left wing the fuel tank (Which as we should all know, are kept in the wings) exploded.

  12. biggestMetallicAfan says:

    aww how sweet
    You …

    aww how sweet
    You crack me up

  13. dkorda says:

    Oh shut the up …
Oh shut the up you dumb ass!

  14. biggestMetallicAfan says:

    Wow a little …
Wow a little offensive are we

I DID NOT say you WERE a little kid, i said maybe you are cause that’s usually the case.
And hey maybe the spoilers is what my AC teacher said, who knows.
If your right then that must be the case HUH.

  15. pajmorris says:

    “Some little kid …
“Some little kid acting like a know it all”. Look at yourself pal. Blowing everyone out of the water with your superior knowledge. Maybe you didn’t pay attention at your “Aviation College”. Its the ground spoilers that deploy automatically on landing (when armed). You’ll need to do far better than that to get your A&P.

  16. biggestMetallicAfan says:

    Then don’t comment …
Then don’t comment again, your choice.
You might be right, you might be wrong.
I don’t know you, you might be some little kid acting like a know it all. maybe you are who you say you are.
Frankly i just don’t care anymore.

    Good day sir

  17. pajmorris says:

    OK then. Why listen …
OK then. Why listen to someone whose been maintaning the MD-11 (and its thrust reversers) for the past 15 years. Your college instructor whose probably never been near one obviously knows best. I dont need to comment anyomore as i KNOW you’re wrong.

  18. biggestMetallicAfan says:

    Dude whatever
    Im …

    Dude whatever
Im gonna stick with what i have been told in my aviation college.
Maybe your right, maybe your not. oh well i don’t car anymore, until i have a chat with a real MD-11 pilot then we will see what i think.

  19. pajmorris says:

    No …
No biggestMetallicAfan you’re wrong. The thrust reversers DO NOT automatically deploy on the MD-11 or any other commercial aircraft. The reverse levers are baulked until the aircraft has achieved ground sense and the throttles are at idle. The only automated portion of a reverser system is an auto re-stow if the reverser moves towards the deploy position uncommanded.

  20. Iaskojet says:

    I bet they …
I bet they up all their passengers connections.

  21. DCstar says:

    Why should they …
Why should they speak English, it’s news coverage from their country. Don’t get all pissy.

  22. biggestMetallicAfan says:

    Yeah seems you …
    Yeah seems you don’t either.
They DO deploy automatically on touchdown, of course there set up to by the pilots, but they do automatically. only in the MD-11 that i know of.
I know your one of them know-it-all’s that sit on the pc all day, YOU got the incorrect info bud.

  23. Entropy56 says:

    I’m against this …
I’m against this sort of thing happening.

  24. smash29 says:

    It’s amusing that …
It’s amusing that you try to tell someone they don’t know about flying when your post make it clear that you don’t either. Thrust reversers actually DO NOT deploy automatically when the main gear touches the ground but if spreading incorrect information on youtube makes you feel good about yourself then have at it…

  25. Iaskojet says:

    These japs …
These japs on this video need to speak english. I can’t understand a word their saying.
