At any given moment, how many airplanes are there in the air in the entire world? I saw my first airplane crash today. I saw a Piper Saratoga land with it’s gear up. Have you ever seen that?

I live near class B airspace and want to fly a kite, could this cause a Boeing 747 to crash if I put 10 rolls of string onto this kite?

Usually, Controlled airspace starts at 6.000ft. unless you live in a terminal aerodrome, then it might be lower, but then it’s usually cass A airspace. It’s pretty unlikely that you can get your kite at 6000ft.
